Terms and Conditions

These terms govern requests submitted to ExperTranslate for document translation, sworn translation coordination, secure delivery, and related account features.

• Service scope: A request starts when you submit the quote form. We review the file and contact you with price, timeline, and next steps before paid work begins unless otherwise agreed.
• Confidentiality: We handle documents confidentially and restrict access to people who need the file to quote, translate, review, or deliver the service.
• Customer obligations: You must have the right to upload the document and provide accurate contact, language, and delivery information.
• Sworn translation: For sworn translation, ExperTranslate may assign an authorized sworn translator. The translator receives only the document summary and, after acceptance, the material needed for the assignment.
• Delivery: Delivery dates are estimates until confirmed by admin. Completed files are delivered through the dashboard or secure links.
• Retention and deletion: Files and verification links may be removed under retention, GDPR, CNIL, or user deletion requirements.
• Liability: To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service and excludes indirect losses.
• Legal review: These terms are designed for operation in France/EU contexts and should be reviewed by counsel for final legal publication.
